Does your busy schedule not quite fit with a group class, or you have a new puppy in the home? Our private training packages allow us to come to your home or neighbourhood, work at your pace, and develop a training plan that works for you. Learn how to motivate your dog using reward based training!

These packages are suitable for new dogs and puppies who are comfortable around people and other dogs. We can work on any or all of the skills that you'd like, including but not limited to: focus & attention, position cues (sit & down), loose leash walking, recall, place cue, potty training, crate training, leave it, socialization, and working with distractions. These lessons are generally recommended in the home to start, and then once practiced we can start generalizing to the outdoors and real world environments.

All private training and packages include a full PDF summary of notes, a training plan, and an assessment (if required) as well as unlimited email and phone follow ups during the time that we are working together.

Initial consultations generally run 1.5 hrs; follow ups are approximately 1 to 1.25 hrs long.

1 session - $195 (GST included)

2 session package - $365 (GST included)

3 session package - $525 (GST included)

Bookings for private training sessions are done via email - no payment is required until a booking date is confirmed.

Leash Reactivity and Fear Packages

For dogs who show fear, frustration and arousal on leash or with new people

Do you have concerns with leash reactivity, or is your dog struggling to meet new people? Are you dreading walks with your dog, or what you've tried hasn't quite worked? Our leash reactivity & fear behaviour private training packages allow us to come to your home or neighbourhood, work at your pace, and develop a training plan that works for you. Learn how to motivate your dog using reward based training!

In this one on one session with a certified trainer, we will go over your specific behaviour concerns, discuss what the training will look like and come up with a plan to help you and your dog. An assessment may be required as part of your initial consult depending on the severity of the behaviour and what is discussed beforehand. Note that if we determine that the behaviour is out of our scope, we may refer you out to another resource including but not limited to a behaviour specialized veterinarian or veterinary behaviourist. Prior to booking, if your trainer has additional questions that are not covered by email a short phone consult may be required - this is at no cost to you. We are always here to get you the help that you need - you are not alone!
