Introductory skills classes for adolescent and adult dogs

Life Skills Class

Basic training + life skills class

This group class covers the basics from attention & focus, loose leash walking, recall, place, leash reactivity prevention, polite greetings and more. Learn how to motivate your dog using reward based training!

Throughout the class we also discuss important topics such as dog body language, setting up your dog for success and how to take your skills to real life. A PDF package & how to videos are included with this course. Classes are capped at 6 students to ensure everyone receives a quality experience.

Life Skills - Level 2

Outdoor and real world skills class

This group class builds on all of the basics you've learned in Life Skills Class! Work on known behaviours such as loose leash walking, leave it, place cue, recall and more all in real world scenarios with distractions. Learn the application of these skills to busier environments, and how to set your dog up for success in dog friendly stores, patios and parks.

Questions are encouraged and discussions will be had about how to manage your dog's behaviour and generalize their skills to real world scenarios. Have fun and get ready for taking your dog out and about this summer!

Classes are capped at 5 students to ensure everyone receives a quality experience.

Each session is held at a different outdoor location around Calgary

Themes include working with distrations, outdoor recall, polite manners in pet friendly stores and dog friendly patios.
