Service Description

Come learn how to prep your dog for patio season! In this 1.5-hour in person session you will learn what base skills you will need, how to train and perfect a place cue, leave it, polite walking through crowds, how to generalize these cues to different environments as well as what to bring and important body language cues to gauge your dog's comfort level in these settings. Homework PDF also included.  1hr 30 minutes per workshop Location: Stanley Park (SW Calgary) Time: 6:30pm-8:00pm Cost: $75 (GST included) Note that this class is weather dependent due to being outdoors. If postponed due to weather, efforts will be made to reschedule to a date and time that works for all attendees.  ​Gear required: Harness or flat collar, regular 6ft leash, portable mat for place cue, variety of treats It is recommended that your dog has completed a basic manners class prior to attending and be reasonably social with people and other dogs to attend this workshop. This class is not recommended for reactive dogs or those who may resource guard from other dogs. Proof of current vaccines including rabies is mandatory for the course. Note: This class is force free - if you are currently using a flexi leash, prong, choke or e-collar please contact us for options and we can help your transition.


Cancellation Policy

Please note that refunds are not available for training services. At this time, make up classes are not offered for missed classes. Cancellations 7 days or more prior to the group class start date are eligible for a 50% partial refund.
